LAX Order Now launches delivery service

Through a partnership with URW, LAWA, Servy and AtYourGate, LAX guests can now have items delivered directly to their gate using LAXOrderNow.com.

In another technological leap at LAX, passengers now can have food and beverages delivered to them within the gate areas.

The new service launches May 1 and is an expansion of the airport’s popular LAXOrderNow.com mobile ordering platform, which enables contactless order, payment and pickup from restaurants throughout the LAX terminals. The new delivery service seamlessly integrates with the LAXOrderNow.com site and further enhances the digital experience by offering the convenience of delivery directly to the gates.

“Our guests have told us they want digital-first, streamlined services from the time they enter the airport until they depart at the gate,” said Justin Erbacci, Chief Executive Officer, Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA). “Offering food and beverage delivery to the gate areas is yet another game-changing feature that sets the new LAX experience apart for its convenience and range of options to enhance the travel experience.”

AtYourGate delivery is managed by LAX in partnership with URW and Servy, the enterprise self-service platform for hospitality.

Initially, delivery service will be available in the Tom Bradley International Terminal and the upcoming Tom Bradley West Gates, which open in May. Additional terminals will be added soon. Participating restaurants at launch include Vino Volo, Border Grill, Panda Express, KFC and ink.sack.

Guests can scan QR codes throughout the terminals or visit LAXOrderNow.com to browse menus, place an order and pay. When checking out, guests in eligible terminals who want delivery will select that option at checkout for an additional delivery fee. Guests will be notified on their mobile device when orders are on their way and when they arrive in the designated gate area, and each participating restaurant provides an estimated delivery time to help ensure food arrives prior to departing.
