With aspirations to become a top 10 global terminal, the new JFK Terminal One will be a 2.5M SF new state-of-the-art facility with a phased opening beginning in 2026. With 23 wide-body gates able to serve an estimated 20M+ international enplanements, the terminal replaces JFK’s aging Terminals 1 and 2.

The New Terminal One caters to one of the world’s most attractive international customer bases, with 100% international traffic. Key destinations are Western Europe (representing 45% of total traffic), Asia (26%), and the Middle East (15%).
The New Terminal One will be a NYC-inspired destination with three distinct districts or neighborhoods—The Park, The Avenue, and The Square—flow seamlessly into one another for the ultimate customer journey. The cutting-edge mix includes bespoke duty free, flagship luxury, inventive and local dining, digital natives, health & wellness, and unique services and experiences.
