This year, the breathtaking backdrop of a performance by Andrea Bocelli on “CBS Sunday Morning” was none other than our Westfield World Trade Center.
It is a holiday tradition for the Young People’s Chorus of New York City to perform in an iconic New York City landmark and have the performance aired on the CBS program. This year viewers were not only treated to holiday favorites by the chorus but they were joined by Bocelli and his children, Matteo and Virginia, who sang “The Greatest Gift.”
The performance was recorded inside the Oculus at the Holiday Market where the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey took the lead on the production. Our URW team was a supporting partner, providing assistance in lighting, sound, logistics, and providing green room space for the talent.
This was another example of making great things happen at Westfield World Trade Center.
